Julia Stiles is collecting apologies almost as quickly as she is collecting scores on \u201cDancing With the Stars.\u201d<\/p>\n
After Andy Cohen recently walked back a dig at Stiles\u2019 dancing, the actress has now received a playful apology from Juilliard over a case of mistaken identity involving one of her most famous movie roles.<\/p>\n
The mix-up stems from \u201cSave the Last Dance,\u201d the 2001 movie in which Stiles played Sarah Johnson, a ballet dancer who moves to Chicago and eventually earns a spot at the prestigious Juilliard School.<\/p>\n
The problem? Stiles never actually attended Juilliard. Her character did.<\/p>\n
Juilliard recently cleared up the confusion in a message to Stiles after the school apparently referenced her as an alum in a social media post.<\/p>\n
In a Sept. 17 TikTok with her \u201cDancing With the Stars\u201d professional partner Ezra Sosa, Stiles read the school\u2019s tongue-in-cheek apology.<\/p>\n
\u201cDear Julia, with our apologies for the clerical error, your alumni file was found under the name Sarah Johnson,\u201d the message said.<\/p>\n
