NEW YORK (AP) \u2014 New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson will make a guest-starring appearance on \u201cLaw & Order: SVU\u201d this fall.<\/p>\n

NBC announced Thursday that Brunson will appear in the season\u2019s fifth episode, which is scheduled to air Nov. 5. Details on Brunson\u2019s exact role weren\u2019t revealed.<\/p>\n

Brunson already is set to host the season premiere of \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d<\/a> on Sept. 26. He made an appearance<\/a> Monday in the opening of the Emmy Awards<\/a> telecast that was hosted by \u201cLaw & Order: SVU\u201d star Mariska Hargitay.<\/p>\n

Hargitay is a Knicks fan who attended Game 4<\/a> of the NBA Finals as New York rallied from a 29-point deficit<\/a> to beat the San Antonio Spurs 107-106, a victory that sparked the franchise to its first title since 1973.<\/a> Hargitay and Brunson hugged on the court after the game.<\/p>\n
