On September 17, 2026, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation stationed at SP Boston arrested Seth A. Powell, 22 of Hamburg, NY for Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child (D Felony) and Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child (E Felony).<\/p>\n
The Bureau of Criminal Investigation out of SP Boston with the assistance from the Troop A Computer Crimes Unit, conducted an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation in the town of Hamburg.\u00a0 Investigation determined Powell possessed child pornography and was disseminating child pornography.<\/p>\n
Powell was arraigned in the town of Hamburg Court and remanded to Erie County Holding Center and scheduled for a felony hearing on September 21, 2026.<\/p>\n
