Trump is scheduled to speak to the UN on Tuesday while Netanyahu is set to deliver his address on Thursday.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen it comes to the president, we continue to have a conversation about how best to deliver for this city,\u201d Mamdani told reporters last week when asked about a potential meeting with Trump.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThat is a conversation that has been done in person, it\u2019s been done over the phone, and it will continue so long as either of us has the ability to deliver for the city.\u201d<\/p>\n

During his visit to the Big Apple for UNGA, Trump is also expected to meet with a number of world leaders to discuss the conflict in the Middle East and other pressing matters. Then, he will jet back to DC for a high-stakes meeting with\u00a0Chinese leader Xi Jinping on Thursday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Xi hasn\u2019t set foot on US soil since 2023 and hasn\u2019t been to the White House since 2015.
