WASHINGTON (TNND) — New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s office announced on Sunday that he will meet with President Donald Trump on Monday ahead of the United Nations General Assembly.

The two will meet at Gracie Mansion, which is the mayoral residence located in Manhattan.

A spokesperson for Mamdani said that the meeting will “focus on issues affecting New York City and New Yorkers.”

The meeting will mark the third time that Mamdani and Trump have met in person. The first meeting between the two was in the Oval Office in November 2025, shortly after Mamdani’s mayoral election. The second meeting took place this February.

Just last week, Mamdani was asked whether he planned to meet with the president.

“When it comes to the president, we continue to have a conversation about how best to deliver for this city,” he told reporters. “That is a conversation that has been done in person, it’s been done over the phone, and it will continue so long as either of us have the ability to deliver for the city.”

The Monday meeting at the mayor’s residence also falls days before Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to address the United Nations on Thursday.

Mamdani, who has been an outspoken critic of the Israeli government, has said he does not plan to participate in any planned demonstrations against Netanyahu.

WASHINGTON (TNND) — New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s office announced on Sunday that he will meet with…

[8
9,24,55,54,56
post-352020","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-new-york-city","tag-new-york","tag-new-york-city","tag-new-york-city-headlines","tag-new-york-city-news","tag-ny
["GET
