(CNN) \u2014 New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani will meet with President Donald Trump on Monday ahead of the United Nations General Assembly, Mamdani\u2019s office said Sunday.<\/p>\n
The meeting will take place at Gracie Mansion, the mayoral residence in Manhattan.<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for Mamdani said the meeting would \u201cfocus on issues affecting New York City and New Yorkers.\u201d<\/p>\n
CNN has reached out to the White House for comment.<\/p>\n
Monday\u2019s meeting will mark the third time Mamdani and Trump have met in person. Their first meeting was held in the Oval Office in November 2025<\/a>, shortly after Mamdani\u2019s election, followed by a second meeting in February<\/a>.<\/p>\n
Mamdani was asked last week whether he planned to meet with the president.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen it comes to the president, we continue to have a conversation about how best to deliver for this city,\u201d he told reporters. \u201cThat is a conversation that has been done in person, it\u2019s been done over the phone, and it will continue so long as either of us have the ability to deliver for the city.\u201d<\/p>\n
