Police report that the pair did not know one another, and the attacker did not speak to the victim prior to the stabbing.<\/p>\n<p>Officers from Transit District 1 and the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nypd73pct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">73rd Precinct<\/a> responded to the incident. EMS rushed the injured commuter to Brookdale University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.<\/p>\n<p>Police are looking to question a heavyset man wearing a dark-colored sweater who fled on a southbound C train.\n<\/p>\n<p>No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.\n<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information regarding this incident can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish, dial 888-57-PISTA).
