{"id":352810,"date":"2026-09-21T21:12:10","date_gmt":"2026-09-21T21:12:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/352810\/"},"modified":"2026-09-21T21:12:10","modified_gmt":"2026-09-21T21:12:10","slug":"news-12-bronx-bronx-man-accused-in-2-nyc-killings-indicted-in-deadly-brooklyn-shooting-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/352810\/","title":{"rendered":"News 12 | Bronx | Bronx Man Accused In 2 Nyc Killings Indicted In Deadly Brooklyn Shooting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The Bronx man accused of killing two people in separate shootings just days apart has now been indicted in connection with the <a data-rich-text-hyperlink=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/bronx.news12.com\/man-killed-another-wounded-in-shooting-inside-brownsville-restaurant\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">deadly Brownsville restaurant shooting<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Jesus Acosta, 31, was arraigned Monday on an 11-count indictment charging him with first- and second-degree murder, second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, first-degree attempted robbery and related charges, according to the Brooklyn District Attorney\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Prosecutors say Acosta entered <a data-rich-text-hyperlink=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/bronx.news12.com\/brooklyn-community-mourns-hearing-news-of-second-fatal-shooting-with-same-gunman\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">American Best Wings &amp; Pizza<\/a> in Brownsville around 11:50 p.m. on Aug. 22 carrying a black plastic bag.
