He was struck in the back by a bullet, leaving him critically wounded.<\/p>\n<p>Officers from the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nypd101pct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">101st Precinct<\/a> rushed to the scene. EMS raced the wounded teen to Cohen Children\u2019s Medical Center, where he is listed in serious condition.<\/p>\n<p>Police sources say they are investigating whether the victim was shot in a possible robbery attempt over his scooter.\n<\/p>\n<p>Authorities say they are looking to question a male who was last seen fleeing on a scooter wearing a black sweatshirt and white shorts.\n<\/p>\n<p>Police are asking the public to stay clear of the area while they investigate.
