{"id":353082,"date":"2026-09-22T02:46:51","date_gmt":"2026-09-22T02:46:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/353082\/"},"modified":"2026-09-22T02:46:51","modified_gmt":"2026-09-22T02:46:51","slug":"news-12-bronx-man-arrested-for-role-in-eastchester-robbery-and-shooting-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/353082\/","title":{"rendered":"News 12 | Bronx | Man Arrested For Role In Eastchester Robbery And Shooting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting and robbery that happened last month in Eastchester, police say.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Billy Perez was arrested Monday and was charged with manslaughter, criminal possession of a weapon and intentional murder.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The <a data-rich-text-hyperlink=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/bronx.news12.com\/1-dead-2-wounded-in-eastchester-shooting\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">incident happened<\/a> on Aug. 23 at 1710 E 233rd St. at 5:42 a.m.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">As News 12 has reported, a group of <a data-rich-text-hyperlink=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/bronx.news12.com\/8-wanted-in-eastchester-robbery-shooting\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">unidentified individuals approached<\/a> another group and forcibly removed property from them. During the robbery, two members of the group shot four people.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The victims, two men and two women, were taken to area hospitals.
