The truck driver caught in Oklahoma with a New York State commercial driver\u2019s license<\/a> without a first name was identified as an Indian migrant who illegally entered the country in 2023.<\/p>\n

ICE agents arrested Anmol Anmol after he was stopped by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol during a routine inspection at a truck scale off I-40 last month, the Department of Homeland Security said Friday.<\/p>\n

Anmol handed over his legitimate New York-issued driver\u2019s license, which had the words \u201cNo Name Given\u201d in place of his first and middle monikers.<\/p>\n

Anmol Anmol was stopped by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol while driving with a New York State-issued CDL on Sept. 23, 2025. U.S. Department of Homeland Security<\/p>\n

Anmol allegedly entered the US illegally in 2023 and was subsequently released into the country by the Biden administration, the DHS said.<\/p>\n

He was placed into removal proceedings after his arrest.<\/p>\n

The New York Department of Motor Vehicles confirmed to The Post that the license, issued on April 14 and set to expire May 26, 2028, was real.<\/p>\n

Anmol\u2019s license bore the \u201cClass A\u201d designation, which allowed him to operate large or heavy vehicles in the US, and stated that he was from Richmond Hill. <\/p>\n

A star in the top right corner indicates the document as a REAL ID that allows holders to board domestic flights and enter federal facilities without a passport.<\/p>\n

DHS staffers slammed New York officials for issuing illegal immigrants CDLs.<\/p>\n

\u201cAllowing illegal aliens to obtain commercial driver\u2019s licenses to operate 18-wheelers and transport hazardous materials on America\u2019s roads is reckless and incredibly dangerous to public safety,\u201d DHS\u00a0Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said Friday. <\/p>\n

Troopers had been patrolling the major highway in the Sooner State and apprehended 125 illegal immigrants during a three-day campaign.<\/p>\n

\u201cNew York is not only failing to check if applicants applying to drive 18-wheelers are US citizens but even failing to obtain the full legal names of individuals they are issuing commercial drivers\u2019 licenses to,\u201d McLaughlin said. \u201cDHS is working with our state and local partners to get illegal alien truck drivers who often don\u2019t know basic traffic laws off our highways.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Oklahoma Republican Governor Kevin Stitt blasted his New York counterparts for handing out commercial licenses like Anmol\u2019s.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf New York wants to hand out CDLs to illegal immigrants with \u201cNo Name Given,\u201d that\u2019s on them,\u201d Stitt wrote on X.<\/a> \u201cThe moment they cross into Oklahoma, they answer to our laws.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stitt praised the OHP for stopping 125 illegal immigrants driving along an enforcement action along I-40 and apprehending 125 illegal immigrants.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is keeping Oklahomans safe,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Amnol\u2019s arrest announcement comes several months after another illegal immigrant from India<\/a> allegedly killed three migrants when he made an illegal U-turn in an 18-wheeler on a Florida highway.<\/p>\n

Harjinder Singh, <\/a>who had been in the country illegally since 2018, was charged with three counts of vehicular homicide for the August 12 crash.<\/p>\n
