Much of the contact appeared to land on Dart&#8217;s left knee.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The former Ole Miss quarterback immediately grabbed his knee and remained on the ground, raising concerns among teammates, coaches and fans.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Dart was later able to walk off the field under his own power, offering some hope that the injury may not be as severe as initially feared.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Coach Jim Harbaugh said after the game that an MCL sprain appears to be a possibility, but the team is waiting for MRI results before determining the extent of the injury.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">\u201cWe&#8217;ll know more tomorrow,&#8221; Harbaugh said. &#8220;That&#8217;s in the neighborhood of it, I would say. We&#8217;ll have an MRI tomorrow and have a really good feel for it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Veteran Jameis Winston entered the game in relief, but the Rams cruised to a 28-6 victory over the Giants.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Dart was one of several NFL starting quarterbacks injured over the weekend.
