A mom was stabbed and left to die inside a Harlem building by her ex-boyfriend \u2014 who waited for hours to ambush her and unleashed his attack even as she begged him to stop, sources and workers said.<\/p>\n
The unidentified 47-year-old mother of four cried out her attacker\u2019s name as he stabbed her multiple times, then left her lying in the blood-spattered hallway of a six-story rental building on West 129th Street early Monday, according to law enforcement sources and building employees.<\/p>\n
A porter called 911 upon spotting the woman drenched in blood and clinging to life near the elevator on the third floor of the building around 4:25 a.m., cops and sources said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Lyron Middleton said he found the building resident \u2014 who has a teenage autistic son \u2014 as he cleaned the staircase.<\/p>\n
The mom of four was fatally stabbed early Monday inside her apartment building on West 129th Street near St. Nicholas Terrace, authorities and sources said. Robert Mecea<\/p>\n
\u201cI saw the blood as I got up close to her,\u201d Middleton told The Post. \u201cI thought it was just someone lying on the floor.\u201d<\/p>\n
Responding EMS workers rushed the critically injured woman to Mount Sinai Morningside hospital, where she died from her wounds, cops said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Middleton said his boss tried to show him surveillance video that captured the savage attack, but he couldn\u2019t bear to watch it and only listened to the audio.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was yelling out someone\u2019s name as it was happening,\u201d he said of the footage.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cShe said, \u2018Luis, Luis, Luis. Luis stop, Luis stop,’\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A police source who viewed the video said the enraged attacker knifed the victim in her face, head and neck.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe must have stabbed her 50 times,\u201d the source said. <\/p>\n
It appeared the assailant sat on the building staircase for two hours \u2014 beginning at 2 a.m. \u2014 before he pounced when she showed up at 4 a.m., Middleton said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A person of interest was in custody but had not yet been charged by Monday afternoon. Robert Mecea<\/p>\n

\u201cHe must have been waiting for her,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
A male person of interest \u2014 described as the victim\u2019s ex-boyfriend \u2014 was in custody by the afternoon, but was not immediately charged, sources said. <\/p>\n
A building superintendent told reporters that the victim had four kids, two who live with her and two who are older and live in New Jersey.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know how did this happen, because they are not a problem person, any one of them. They are nice [people], like our family,\u201d the worker said.<\/p>\n
A rattled neighbor described the murder as \u201ca sad situation knowing she had children.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI just see the whole damn police out here this morning,\u201d the resident said. \u201cI was shocked. That has never ever happened in this building and I\u2019ve been here for 10 years.
