A Brooklyn woman fatally stabbed her boyfriend as he allegedly beat her in her apartment over the weekend, according to police.<\/p>\n
Jennifer Ayala, 36, knifed beau Pedersin Pelissier, 36, in the chest in her East Flatbush home around 6:50 a.m. Saturday because he \u201cwould not stop hitting her,\u201d she told police, according to the criminal complaint.<\/p>\n

Ayala told investigators she was defending herself when she grabbed the knife and \u201cpoked\u201d Pelissier while he was attacking her.<\/p>\n
She was arrested and charged with first-degree manslaughter and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.<\/p>\n
