A lunatic with 18 prior arrests somehow waltzed into a Bronx courtroom Monday with a loaded handgun hidden in his underwear \u2014 and then threatened officers to \u201ccome see me outside,\u201d according to a criminal complaint.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The incredible security snafu<\/a> happened when Jamal Frett, 26, snuck a black Ruger pistol locked and loaded with five rounds into the Bronx County Hall of Justice around 11:10 a.m. on Sept. 21, the complaint said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Frett then made his way up to Justice Guy Mitchell\u2019s courtroom<\/a>, where officers said he began to act disorderly, according to the complaint and sources.<\/p>\n

A court officer noticed the serial crook using his phone and speaking loudly \u2014 a violation of courtroom rules \u2014 and deemed he was interrupting the proceedings, the complaint said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The officer said that as Frett was being escorted<\/a> out of the courtroom, he began to threaten them.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Frett began screaming \u201cdon\u2019t f\u2013king touch me, come see me outside you want some,\u201d and tried to prevent officers from cuffing him, court papers said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While officers were subduing him, they discovered the handgun he had hidden in his waistband.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Officers arrested Frett and prosecutors hit him with a bevy of charges, including several criminal possession of a weapon charges. He was then remanded.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Bronx District Attorney\u2019s Office directed The Post\u2019s questions about court security to the state Office of Court Administration. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Unified Court System is already conducting an internal review, according to OCA spokesperson Al Baker, to figure out how a gun could have made its way into the secure facility. <\/p>\n

Baker told The Post that security camera footage showed Frett \u2014 a parolee from state prison who had been released in March \u2014 had walked through metal detectors before entering the building an hour before the gun was shockingly discovered.<\/p>\n

Frett told officers he wore an ankle monitor on his leg and was patted down after he set off a magnetometer, security camera footage also showed, according to Baker.<\/p>\n

\u201cOfficers, using a handheld scanner, patted Mr. Frett down and discovered no immediate presence of a weapon,\u201d the spokesperson said. <\/p>\n

When they later discovered the gun, the NYPD and New York State Parole Bureau were immediately notified, he added. <\/p>\n

Sources said it was unclear why Frett was in the Bronx courthouse on Monday, but it\u2019s not his first brush with the law. <\/p>\n

The repeat offender has a staggering 18 prior arrests, including 12 for felonies, according to sources. <\/p>\n

He was last in court on Sept. 8 for a pending case where he and other brutes allegedly slashed a woman on the head while she was walking to the supermarket on April 30, sources said.<\/p>\n
