BELLEROSE, Queens (PIX11) \u2014 A house fire in Bellerose, Queens, caused firefighters to scramble and evacuate at one point, injuring multiple NYC firefighters, according to officials.<\/p>\n
The FDNY received a 911 call at 2:08 p.m. on Tuesday about a house that was on fire located at the corner of 249th Street and Hillside Avenue, according to officials.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Stay connected with community stories that matter: Visit our homepage\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n First responders were at the scene within minutes and found the fire located in both the first and second floors of the house.\u00a0<\/p>\n At one point, two firefighters could be seen on video evacuating from a second-floor window onto a ladder as the flames got too intense, as seen in one video.<\/p>\n The fire was under control by 3:14 p.m., according to the FDNY.<\/p>\n Officials say that four firefighters were injured in the fire, and the cause is under investigation.<\/p>\n Andrew Cruz is a digital content producer.
