Walker\u2019s Shortbread has partnered with Avolta to launch a limited-edition tin commemorating the late Queen Elizabeth II exclusively in UK travel retail.<\/p>\n
The Queen\u2019s Commemorative Tin is now available through Avolta\u2019s World Duty Free stores across UK airports, priced at \u00a315.50 for 300g.<\/p>\n
Designed as a premium gift and collector\u2019s item, the gold tin features a black-and-white portrait of a young Queen Elizabeth II wearing her crown and jewellery. It contains a selection of all-butter shortbread, including crown rounds, Union Jack shortbread and Walker\u2019s signature shortbread fingers.<\/p>\n
The launch builds on Walker\u2019s longstanding association with the Royal Family. King Charles III, then Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, opened the company\u2019s Aberlour factory in 2001 and its Aberlour House head office in 2008.<\/p>\n
Walker\u2019s was granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment from King Charles III in 2024 for the supply of shortbread and oatcakes. The company had previously received Royal Warrants from Queen Elizabeth II and the Queen Mother.<\/p>\n

The launch comes during a milestone year for Walker\u2019s, which received the King\u2019s Award for Enterprise in recognition of its international trade performance.
