THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — A nonverbal autistic boy had gone missing in the Bronx, police sources tell PIX11 News.<\/p>\n
The 8-year-old boy was last seen leaving an address on Broadway in the Bronx’s Kingsbridge neighborhood, according to police.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Discover more local reporting on our homepage\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n He was last seen around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.<\/p>\n The boy, who was about 4 feet 9 inches tall, weighs about 80 pounds, and was last seen wearing a brown sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, and grey sneakers.<\/p>\n Police were asking New Yorkers to stay alert as authorities searched for the boy. He was later found safe, according to police.<\/p>\n Submit tips to police by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), visiting\u00a0crimestoppers.nypdonline.org<\/a>, downloading the NYPD Crime Stoppers mobile app, or texting 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
