Rudy Giuliani offered some brutal \u201cadvice\u201d for Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani Monday \u2014 telling his successor he should never take office as leader of the Big Apple.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy advice to him is to step down and do something else,\u201d Giuliani told\u00a0The Post of the proud democratic socialist who he branded a \u201ccommunist \u2014 right out of Karl Marx.\u201d<\/p>\n

Giuliani, a Republican former two-term mayor of the city, blasted Mamdani as ill-equipped for the job and claimed he was a \u201csupporter of Muslim extremism\u201d after the Democratic Party nominee rubbed elbows with controversial Imam Suraj Wahhaj, a radical who had once urged a gun-free \u201cjihad\u201d on the city<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThe imam he was with is a strong supporter of terrorism,\u201d Giuliani said, referring to a picture taken during the campaign of Mamdani \u2014 who will be the city\u2019s first Muslim mayor \u2014 smiling widely with Wahhaj.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not worried that he\u2019s a Muslim. I\u2019m worried that he supports Muslim extremism<\/a>,\u201d Giuliani said.<\/p>\n \u201cZohran Mamdani is a serious security threat to the United States of America\u201d said Giuliani. AP<\/p>\n Giuliani, who was once considered \u201cAmerica\u2019s mayor\u201d for leading the city during and after the Sept. 11, 2001 World Trade Center terrorist attacks, later went on to be a Trump attorney.<\/p>\n He was pardoned<\/a> by the Trump administration for his part in the alleged effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election that saw Democrat Joe Biden defeat Trump<\/a>. Trump returned to office after the 2024 election.<\/p>\n \u201cYou think the federal government will give this guy a security clearance?\u201d Giuliani said. \u201cZohran Mamdani is a serious security threat to the United States of America.
