Syracuse women’s lacrosse will square off against Army in an exhibition contest as part of the Bronx Lacrosse Classic on October 10. The matchup, held at Greenwich High School in Greenwich, Connecticut, will be followed by a free clinic for students in 3rd through 8th grade, led by coaches and players from both programs.<\/p>\n
The event offers a look at the 2027 roster, which returns significant production paired with a strong freshman and transfer class. Notable returners include attacker Molly Guzik<\/a> and goalkeeper Dan Guyette, both of whom started all 20 games in 2026. Guzik enters her junior year a year after being named an IWLCA Third Team All-American and First Team All-ACC selection. Guyette enters her fifth year as the reigning ACC Goalkeeper of the Year with All-America recognition from USA Lacrosse and Inside Lacrosse.<\/p>\n The newcomer class is headlined by freshman attacker Peyton Rothfuss<\/a>, the No. 11 recruit in her class, and transfer Paisley Cook<\/a>, the reigning America East Player of the Year after a career year at UAlbany.<\/p>\n 2027 season tickets for Syracuse Women’s Lacrosse are on sale now! The Black Knights are under the leadership of Syracuse alum Michelle Tumolo ’13, who has been at the helm of the program since 2021. In five seasons, she has piloted Army to a 64-27 record. Tumolo finished her career as one of the most decorated offensive players in program history, logging 278 points.
