Italian food, great wine, and warm hospitality are coming to the Upper East Side,\u201d according to the restaurant\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/pepe.veranyc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Instagram page.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The menu appears to still be in development, with the team recently turning to social media to ask followers which Italian dishes and desserts they \u201ccould never say no to,\u201d hinting some suggestions could make the final menu.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Commenters suggested dishes including linguine with clams, osso buco with risotto Milanese, slow-cooked Bolognese, spinach farfalle with duck ragu, tiramisu and tartufo.<\/p>\n<p>Chef Pepe is no stranger to the pastry world, having previously served as chef and owner of the Italian pastry shop Cerasella in Long Island City.<\/p>\n<p>An official opening date has not yet been announced, but the team recently filed for a liquor, beer and wine license.
