{"id":356448,"date":"2026-09-25T05:38:51","date_gmt":"2026-09-25T05:38:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/356448\/"},"modified":"2026-09-25T05:38:51","modified_gmt":"2026-09-25T05:38:51","slug":"news-12-bronx-authorities-identify-man-killed-in-wrong-way-hit-and-run-in-tremont","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/356448\/","title":{"rendered":"News 12 | Bronx | Authorities Identify Man Killed In Wrong Way Hit And Run In Tremont"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Officials have identified the man <a data-rich-text-hyperlink=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/bronx.news12.com\/driver-going-wrong-way-fatally-strikes-man-in-the-bronx-police-say\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">fatally struck by a driver<\/a> going the wrong way in the Tremont section of the Bronx early Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The New York City Department of Transportation says 68-year-old Ismael Rodriguez, of the Bronx, was attempting to cross the intersection of Park Avenue and East Tremont Avenue around 5:55 a.m.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Officials say the preliminary investigation shows a white car heading north in the southbound lane of Park Avenue as it approached East Tremont Avenue.
