\n Actors Hannah Einbinder and Susan Sarandon spent part of Thursday in handcuffs outside the United Nations, where they joined a New York City protest against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to the General Assembly, the Los Angeles Times<\/a> reports. Jewish Voice for Peace, which helped organize the action, said more than 100 people were arrested as demonstrators blocked access near the UN while chanting “Free Palestine” and accusing Netanyahu of genocide. Police pointed to the “unscheduled” event blocking an intersection, the Guardian<\/a> reports. \n <\/p>\n

Inside the hall, Netanyahu’s address drew both cheers and walkouts.
