KINGSTON \u2013 A Bronx man has been arrested on a warrant by Kingston City Police on charge of rape in connection with a sexual assault on an individual unable to consent.<\/p>\n
Brandon Rivera, 29, was arrested on September 16 and charged with attempted rape and endangering the welfare of a disabled person, both as felonies, and a misdemeanor of sexual contact with a person unable to consent.<\/p>\n
It is alleged that on April 22, 2026, Rivera attempted to rape an individual unable to consent. He was interrupted by a third person and did not complete the crime.<\/p>\n
Following an investigation by Kingston Police with assistance from the Ulster County District Attorney\u2019s Office, an arrest warrant was issued on May 29.<\/p>\n
Rivera surrendered himself and was turned over to Ulster County Court.<\/p>\n
