The 5,000-square-foot space will be built out with reclaimed scaffolding lumber. Consumer items include books, glassware, and kitchen items, but not furniture or building materials like its  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brownstoner.com\/brooklyn-life\/big-reuse-378-troutman-street-bushwick-thrift-store\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gowanus flagship<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Executive Director Justin Green said the expansion follows a \u201csurge of interest in thrifting and reusing stuff and it felt like we have the momentum to keep going forward.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The group, known for its sustainability and composting projects, partnered locally with Clean Bushwick Initiative and Councilmembers Sandy Nurse and Jennifer Guti\u00e9rrez.
