Discount Shoe Repair\/Facebook<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve been in Liverpool since 1995, and anyplace I go, in the grocery store or Home Depot, they say, \u2018Ralph, I got some shoes for you, can I bring them down?&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The publication also shines a light on <a href=\"https:\/\/operationnc.org\/about-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Operation Northern Comfort,<\/a> a volunteer organization formed in the wake of Hurricane Katrina that now mobilizes closer to home, offering repairs, assistance, and all other manner of help. <\/p>\n<p>\u2018What made Liverpool stand out is that there wasn\u2019t just\u00a0one\u00a0central aspect of community support and togetherness \u2013 it was happening all over the small village: from neighbor-to-neighbor care to bigger programs across the area, like Operation Northern Comfort and I<a href=\"https:\/\/inmyfatherskitchen.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">n My Father\u2019s Kitchen<\/a>,\u201d said Ray.  <\/p>\n<p>According to Ray, Liverpool\u2019s neighborliness makes residents want to live there, and visitors linger.
