At 8 a.m.\u2019s high tide, the water level had reached nearly 8 feet above normal low tide \u2014 around a foot lower than when Superstorm Sandy roared ashore in the Northeast almost 14 years ago.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cmuifhf6f00063b6u957o3w78@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            Saturday also features a full moon, which means tides were already among the highest of the month.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cmuifhf6f00073b6ugbny4eg6@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            With the nor\u2019easter expected to stall off the coast this weekend, strong winds will continue to bring coastal flooding and inundation with each high tide cycle into Monday.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cmuifhf6f00083b6uz9xd9jb5@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            \u201cIt\u2019s very concerning,\u201d said Atlantic City Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator Michael Famularo. \u201cIt\u2019s just going to be more water in the streets. I mean, we\u2019re still not calling for any evacuations because we think \u2026 if you\u2019re in your house, you\u2019re going to be safe.
