CINCINNATI \u2013 Cincinnati women\u2019s golf returns to action Monday and Tuesday at the Powercat Classic at Colbert Hills Golf Club in Manhattan, Kan.<\/p>\n
The two-day event will be played on the par-72, 6,503-yard Colbert Hills Golf Club. The tournament opens Monday with 36 holes, followed by an 18-hole final round Tuesday. Both days are scheduled for a 9:30 a.m. ET shotgun start.<\/p>\n
Cincinnati\u2019s lineup features senior Ellise Rymer<\/a>, sophomore Angela Gomez<\/a>, freshman Eline Chau-Hu<\/a>, freshman Mai Mai Wimonwan<\/a> and freshman Staci Pla<\/a>. Senior Lauren Pleiman<\/a> will be competing as an individual.<\/p>\n The 12-team field includes host Kansas State, South Dakota State, Kennesaw State, Monmouth, Missouri-St. Louis, Bethune-Cookman, Central Arkansas, Incarnate Word, Loyola Chicago, Creighton and Tarleton State.<\/p>\n Cincinnati finished second at last season\u2019s Powercat Invitational, with three Bearcats placing inside the individual top 10. Rymer, who returns for her senior season, notched a seventh-place finish.<\/p>\n Last time out, Cincinnati opened the 2026-27 season with a sixth-place finish at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational at the University of Kentucky\u2019s Big Blue Course in Lexington, Ky.<\/p>\n The Bearcats opened the tournament with a seven-under 281, highlighted by three players shooting under par. Rymer led the way with a five-under 67, tying the program record for the lowest 18-hole score.<\/p>\n Rymer finished sixth individually at five-under 211, recording a career-low 54-hole score. She tallied 12 birdies and an eagle across the three rounds.<\/p>\n Gomez tied for 26th at 219. She opened the tournament with a career-low 71 and finished three-over par. Chau-Hu made her collegiate debut with a 222 to tie for 33rd.
