So far, no one has been arrested, the police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-12m5bll evys1bk0\">The woman was discovered around 9:45 a.m. inside a gazebo near the Central Park Boathouse, a popular restaurant among New Yorkers and tourists.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-12m5bll evys1bk0\">She was found barefoot and covered in dirt hours after a Nor\u2019easter swept through New York City and was pronounced dead just after 10 a.m., the officials said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-12m5bll evys1bk0\">Killings in Central Park are rare. There were no murders between Jan. 1 and Sept. 20, according to the most recently available police data, and none last year during the same time period.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-12m5bll evys1bk0\">This is a developing story.
