{"id":358499,"date":"2026-09-28T02:18:07","date_gmt":"2026-09-28T02:18:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/358499\/"},"modified":"2026-09-28T02:18:07","modified_gmt":"2026-09-28T02:18:07","slug":"news-12-bronx-man-wanted-for-cash-robbery-spree-at-nycha-complexes-across-the-bronx","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/358499\/","title":{"rendered":"News 12 | Bronx | Man Wanted For Cash Robbery Spree At Nycha Complexes Across The Bronx"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Police are searching for the man who they say is responsible for a robbery spree at NYCHA complexes across the Bronx.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The three thefts occurred over the course of one week in mid-September.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Detectives say the man most recently got away with an envelope that contained around $21,000 in cash at the Forest Houses in Morrisania.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Investigators say the spree started on Sept. 12 at around 9 p.m. inside the Morris Houses in Claremont Village. The suspect snatched $878 out of a 49-year-old woman&#8217;s dog stroller. He then pushed the woman to the ground.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Four days later at around 10 p.m., the man robbed a 17-year-old boy of $40 inside the Monroe Houses in Soundview, according to the NYPD. After the theft, police say the man grabbed the teen and demanded additional property.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The third robbery &#8211; where the man got away with the largest amount of cash &#8211; happened  on Sept. 21 around 5:15 p.m. Police say the man snatched the envelope that held around $21,000 from a 20-year-old man at the Forest Houses.
