{"id":358791,"date":"2026-09-28T13:52:07","date_gmt":"2026-09-28T13:52:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/358791\/"},"modified":"2026-09-28T13:52:07","modified_gmt":"2026-09-28T13:52:07","slug":"man-33-stabbed-to-death-inside-manhattan-homeless-shelter-fellow-resident-arrested","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/358791\/","title":{"rendered":"Man, 33, stabbed to death inside Manhattan homeless shelter, fellow resident arrested"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 33-year-old man was stabbed to death inside a Washington Heights homeless shelter \u2014\u00a0and a fellow resident was arrested for his murder, <a href=\"https:\/\/compstat.nypdonline.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">police<\/a> said Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The victim was stabbed multiple times in the chest during an argument with his killer at Project Renewal\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.projectrenewal.org\/our-work\/homes\/fort-washington-mens-shelter\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fort Washington Men\u2019s Shelter<\/a> on W. 168th St. near Fort Washington Ave. about 11:45 a.m. Sunday, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Medics rushed the victim to Harlem Hospital, where he later died, cops said.
