Former Giants first-round pick Jason Pierre-Paul seemed to let the franchise know his services are available Monday after news broke that linebacker Brian Burns is likely out for the season<\/a> with a torn ACL.<\/p>\n

The 37-year-old \u2014 who played three games for the Buccaneers last season after being away being away from football for nearly two years \u2014 tagged the Giants in a post on X that said, \u201c@Giants what\u2019s up.\u201d <\/p>\n

Pierre-Paul earned an All-Pro selection and two of his three Pro Bowl nods during his eight seasons with the Giants from 2010-17.<\/p>\n

He won his first Super Bowl when Big Blue defeated the Patriots during the 2011 season, and his second with the Buccaneers in the 2020 campaign.<\/p>\n

Pierre-Paul signed with the Bucs\u2019 practice squad in December 2025, and was activated for three games late in the season.<\/p>\n

Burns sustained a knee injury in the fourth quarter of the Giants\u2019 12-7 victory<\/a> over the Titans on Sunday.<\/p>\n

He was already dealing with a sprained left ankle coming out of the 28-6 loss to the Rams at SoFi Stadium, and was listed as questionable to play against the Titans. <\/p>\n

Burns\u2019 injury occurred six days after Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart sustained a season-ending left knee injury.<\/p>\n

Dart underwent surgery<\/a> to repair damage to his meniscus and medial collateral ligament Friday.<\/p>\n

Head coach John Harbaugh said the team was waiting on results from Burns\u2019 MRI Sunday night. <\/p>\n

\u201cThere is some hope there, but we won\u2019t know until we see the MRI,\u2019\u2019 Harbaugh said.<\/p>\n

Burns had zero sacks in three games played this season.<\/p>\n
