Mayor Zohran Mamdani will be sitting in the guest seat for Monday\u2019s \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d as the West Coast-produced <\/a>show heads to the Big Apple for a week-long stretch.<\/p>\n

The social media-focused mayor\u2019s<\/a> interview will air as part of the ABC late night talk show\u2019s weeklong stint filming at the Brooklyn Academy of Music\u2019s Howard Gilman Opera House.<\/p>\n

Other guests lined up for the five-day stretch of shows at BAM include Paul McCartney, Billy Crystal, Pete Davidson, Bruce Springsteen, Howard Stern and Mahershala Ali.<\/p>\n

The show is usually recorded in California.<\/p>\n

Host Kimmel, a well-known critic of President Trump, returned to the air for his 4,000th episode earlier this month after a summer hiatus.<\/p>\n

The host drew headlines when his show was pulled off the airwaves in 2025 after Kimmel doubled down on controversial comments<\/a> about conservative commentator Charlie Kirk\u2019s death.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kimmel mocked FCC Chairman Brendan Carr and cast himself as a martyr for free speech in his first monologue but stopped short of apologizing<\/a> for linking Charlie Kirk\u2019s alleged killer to the MAGA movement.<\/p>\n

Kimmel recently claimed<\/a> that ABC opted not to air a recent interview with Democrat Texas Senate hopeful James Talarico due to threats from Trump\u2019s Federal Communications Commission.<\/p>\n
