O\u2019Brien fell to the ground and hit his head.<\/p>\n<p>He died Sunday, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/help-the-obrien-family-x3f55?attribution_id=sl:2e912f6a-e744-4625-a6d5-e335ad92b334&amp;lang=en_US&amp;ts=1790603048&amp;utm_campaign=fp_sharesheet&amp;utm_content=amp30-treatment-2&amp;utm_medium=customer&amp;utm_source=copy_link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">GoFundMe<\/a> started by a family friend who says O\u2019Brien suffered a \u201cdevastating brain injury.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyautosizes lazyload\" alt=\"Richard O'Brien (left), a father of two, died days after being struck by a bicyclist while walking on West Drive near W. 84th St. in central Park. (GoFundMe)<\/p>\n<p>The 32-year-old bicyclist has not been charged with a crime, police said.
