Matt Damon<\/a> wasted no time renewing his feud with Jimmy Kimme<\/a>l in Brooklyn.<\/p>\n

On the first night of Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/a>\u2019s weeklong return to the Brooklyn Academy of Music Monday, Damon popped up unannounced during Kimmel\u2019s monologue\u2014this time posing as a Red Sox fan in the audience.<\/p>\n

The setup came as Kimmel noted that the Yankees and Red Sox were set to meet in the postseason. When he asked whether there were any Sox fans in the house, Damon\u2019s voice came booming from the crowd.<\/p>\n

\u201cGo Sox!\u201d he yelled.<\/p>\n

Kimmel quickly zeroed in on him. \u201cYou, the loser in the Red Sox cap, what is your name?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know my name,\u201d Damon replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have no idea what your name is,\u201d Kimmel said. \u201cAnd honestly, I don\u2019t care, because it\u2019s time for the ceremonial throwing out of the first Red Sox fan. Please remove this from the theater.\u201d<\/p>\n

Damon protested that, for once, he wasn\u2019t trying to sneak onto Kimmel\u2019s show.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m just here with family,\u201d he insisted.<\/p>\n

That family, it turned out, was Kimmel\u2019s.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m here with your mom,\u201d Damon said, calling out Kimmel\u2019s mother, Joan. He then revealed that Kimmel\u2019s sister Jill was with them, too.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mother and my sister?\u201d Kimmel asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s right,\u201d Damon replied.<\/p>\n

As Kimmel ordered security to remove him, Damon prepared to leave with both women in tow.<\/p>\n

\u201cListen, I\u2019ll tell you what,\u201d Damon told Kimmel. \u201cYou can keep me off the show. You can\u2019t keep me out of your mom.\u201d<\/p>\n

He then led Joan and Jill out of the audience while chanting, \u201cLet\u2019s go, Sox!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so sorry about that,\u201d Kimmel told the people seated nearby. \u201cEveryone in this section, you should all probably get tested for HPV.\u201d<\/p>\n

The cameo made good on Kimmel\u2019s promise that this year\u2019s Brooklyn shows would include \u201csurprise visitors\u201d\u2014and marked Damon\u2019s second consecutive year crashing the show at BAM.<\/p>\n

Last October, Damon turned up on the final night of Kimmel\u2019s Brooklyn run disguised as Frankie Focus<\/a>, the furry green mascot promoting New York\u2019s smartphone ban in schools. Damon was eventually unmasked after insulting Kimmel from the audience.<\/p>\n

His latest appearance also comes just three months after Damon smuggled himself onto Jimmy Kimmel Live! inside a wooden Trojan horse<\/a>, ostensibly to promote Christopher Nolan\u2019s The Odyssey.<\/p>\n

The pair\u2019s running faux feud dates back to 2005, when Kimmel began ending episodes with the line, \u201cApologies to Matt Damon, we ran out of time.\u201d In the two decades since, it has produced everything from surprise cameos and Oscar-night insults to Sarah Silverman\u2019s famous \u201cI\u2019m F***ing Matt Damon\u201d video.<\/p>\n

Damon wasn\u2019t Monday night\u2019s only unannounced visitor.<\/p>\n

Later in the monologue, as Kimmel discussed New York City potholes, construction workers suddenly appeared onstage with a jackhammer. When Kimmel demanded to speak with their supervisor, out walked Jon Hamm<\/a> as \u201cLenny,\u201d who explained that his crew wasn\u2019t there to repair potholes.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t fill potholes,\u201d Hamm told him. \u201cWe install them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hamm claimed his crew had been making \u201chandcrafted artisanal potholes for 40 years,\u201d before launching into a defense of the less pleasant parts of New York City\u2014including subway urine, rats, impossible parking, and apartments \u201cso small they squeeze out your balls.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe New York I love is filthy and dangerous,\u201d Hamm declared, eventually rallying his workers for one last job: \u201cCome on, boys. Let\u2019s teach Mr. Mayor a lesson. Let\u2019s go dig a hole big enough to swallow a school bus. Tonight we ride!\u201d<\/p>\n
