The social media savvy mayor joined host Jimmy Kimmel Monday night for the ABC late-night talk show\u2019s eighth-annual weeklong broadcast stint at the Brooklyn Academy of Music\u2019s Howard Gilman Opera House.<\/p>\n
When Kimmel asked how the unlikely political pairing has hit it off \u2014 including during the president\u2019s trip to Gracie Mansion<\/a> earlier this month \u2014 Mamdani insisted the answer was simple.<\/p>\n NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani shared how he and President Trump bond over their love for the city and Sunnyside Yards on \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d Monday ABC<\/p>\n \u201cThe president and I have many disagreements, but one thing we do agree on is this city and how much we love this city,\u201d Mamdani told Kimmel, who is a staunch critic of Trump.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd so from that first meeting in November of last year, I was just thinking of how can we make this meeting not about us, but about New Yorkers.
