Attorney Gregory LaSpina, who worked with Vaughn in the early 2000s as a young associate, said he has always demonstrated \u201ccapability, competence and\u00a0 dedication.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAnthony Vaughn was everything you would want in a young associate,\u201d\u00a0 LaSpina said. \u201cI have no doubt that he will be able to handle whatever the bench presents. He\u2019s up to the task.\u201d<\/p>\n

Raised in a family shaped by military service, faith and civic responsibility, Vaughn credits those early influences with instilling discipline, compassion and a strong moral compass. He is a graduate of Morehouse College and the University of Cincinnati College of Law, and is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, multiple federal courts, and the United States Supreme Court.<\/p>\n
Vaughn made history as the first Black man to serve as president of the Brooklyn Bar Association, holding the position from June 2024 through June 2025. He is also the owner of the Law Office of Anthony W.
