{"id":360076,"date":"2026-09-29T20:34:11","date_gmt":"2026-09-29T20:34:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/360076\/"},"modified":"2026-09-29T20:34:11","modified_gmt":"2026-09-29T20:34:11","slug":"j-and-m-train-service-changes-planned-for-5-weekends-this-fall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/360076\/","title":{"rendered":"J And M Train Service Changes Planned For 5 Weekends This Fall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BROOKLYN, NY \u2014 The MTA will make service changes on the J and M subway lines for five weekends from October through November while crews replace switches south of Marcy Avenue. <\/p>\n<p>The switches, which were last replaced in 1997, are used to move trains between local and express tracks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-subscribe\">\n  <a class=\"article-subscribe-link\" href=\"https:\/\/patch.com\/new-york\/bushwick\/subscribe?utm_source=amp&amp;utm_campaign=subscribe&amp;utm_medium=mobile&amp;utm_term=subscribe_in_article\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Subscribe<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>On weekdays from Oct. 13 through Nov. 20, except Oct. 26\u201330, J trains will operate locally between Marcy Avenue and Myrtle Avenue-Broadway from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Weekend changes will take place during several weekends from Oct. 17 through Nov. 23.
