{"id":360202,"date":"2026-09-29T22:58:48","date_gmt":"2026-09-29T22:58:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/360202\/"},"modified":"2026-09-29T22:58:48","modified_gmt":"2026-09-29T22:58:48","slug":"two-teens-arrested-for-smuggling-firearms-into-schools-in-brooklyn-and-the-bronx","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/360202\/","title":{"rendered":"Two teens arrested for smuggling firearms into schools in Brooklyn and the Bronx"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two teenage boys were arrested in separate incidents for smuggling firearms into schools in Brooklyn and the Bronx Tuesday, cops said.<\/p>\n<p>The Bronx bust saw police recover a 9-mm Glock from the backpack of a 15-year-old student at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eximiusprep.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eximius Preparatory Academy<\/a> on Fulton St. near E. 170th St. in Morrisania around 2:07 p.m., police said.<\/p>\n<p>The weapon, along with 20 rounds of ammunition, was discovered after the teen was captured by an NYPD warrants squad, sources said.
