Spartanburg County Sheriff&#8217;s Office<\/p>\n<p>The solictor\u2019s office said in bond court that \u201csome of the lacerations were so deep they cut to the bone.\u201d The injuries to the 6-year-old were \u201dvery severe,\u201d the outlet added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s currently facing the possibility of amputation of fingers and possibly an arm due to the severity of the injury sustained,\u201d the office added about the older child.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities believe she carried out the frenzied attack using a knife and a blunt object.<\/p>\n<p>Both kids were taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center for treatment but were described as being in stable condition and are expected to recover.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:0.81458333;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"   data-modal-image=\"41048704\" width=\"481\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/2024-gosnell-35-attacked-kids-143047819.jpg\" alt=\"Taylor Gosnell with her two children, whose faces are blurred.\" class=\"wp-image-41048704\"\/>Gosnell allegedly left her 6-year-old and 3-year-old severely injured, leaving one facing amputation.
