The price of a 10-trip pass would rise from $29 to $30.<\/p>\n<p>The EDC said the fare changes are intended to \u201cincrease farebox revenue while maintaining the system\u2019s overall growth and accessibility to all riders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The proposed changes would increase the discounted one-way fare from $1.45 to $1.50.<\/p>\n<p>The EDC has also proposed making the unlimited two-day ticket \u2014 which was introduced as a pilot in late 2025 \u2014 permanent. Its $15 price would remain unchanged under the proposal.<\/p>\n<p>The ferry&#8217;s most recent <a href=\"https:\/\/ny1.com\/nyc\/all-boroughs\/transit\/2024\/09\/09\/nyc-ferry-ticket-rate-increases-take-effect\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">fare increase took effect in September 2024<\/a>, when the single-trip fare rose from $4 to $4.50 and the 10-trip pass increased from $27.50 to $29.<\/p>\n<p>At that time, the discounted fare for seniors, people with disabilities and low-income riders increased from $1.35 to $1.45.
