That early exposure led him to law, then to a 27-year career that moved from prosecution to civil litigation and later back into the courts. Vitucci said he also learned the value of public service, a lesson that shaped his work with judges and his community involvement. He served on Community Board 1, coached youth baseball and soccer, and even helped neighbors clear snow after a storm. Now Vitucci is running in a special election for Staten Island&#8217;s 1st Municipal Court District judge seat in the New York City Civil Court.
