Zorhan Mamdani won the election in New York City, and Sen. Tommy Tuberville<\/a> has some things to say about it. <\/p>\n Speaking on Steve Bannon\u2019s podcast, Tuberville said he believes that within one election cycle, everybody in America\u2019s largest city will have converted or moved out. <\/p>\n \u201cWe lost New York,\u201d he said. \u201cIt will be completely Muslim in three or four years. That\u2019s what they want. They are going to have everything free there for them, and they are going to spread throughout the country.\u201d <\/p>\n I know it might be silly to take Tuberville seriously, but let\u2019s do something he rarely does \u2014 make sense with math. <\/p>\n New York City is home to almost 8.5 million people. Islam is its third largest religion with estimates ranging between 3 and 9 percent of the city\u2019s population. <\/p>\n But it\u2019s New York, so let\u2019s be, ahem, liberal with our numbers. <\/p>\n That would mean the city\u2019s new mayor and friends have four years to convert or push out at least 7.5 million people, or about 36,000 per week.<\/p>\n And that\u2019s with the clock starting last week \u2026 Yeah, that ain\u2019t happening. <\/p>\n The leading religion in New York City is Christianity, by the way, with Judaism a distant second. But the fastest-growing group is the religiously unaffiliated. And with folks like Trump\u2019s waterboy preaching the word, is it any wonder why? <\/p>\n Tuberville has said dumb things like this before \u2014 so many things<\/a> \u2014 but particularly about Muslims and immigrants in cities. <\/p>\n Recently, Tuberville introduced legislation to require Uber drivers to be fluent in English<\/a>, and he also introduced a \u201creligious freedom\u201d bill that would ban Sharia law<\/a> because, apparently, it\u2019s 2015 again. <\/p>\n He wants to push foreign students out of American colleges<\/a>, even though American universities use their tuition to subsidize American students. <\/p>\n And earlier this year, on a talk show once funded by the Kremlin<\/a>, Tuberville called immigrants \u201cinner-city rats\u201d that depend on government handouts. <\/p>\n How dare these New Yorkers mooch off the federal government when they pay considerably more than \u2026 (checks notes) \u2026 they receive. <\/p>\n The taker state isn\u2019t New York. That would be Alabama<\/a>. It\u2019s also home to more than a few Muslim citizens, too. You might hope a Senator would know that, especially when he now wants to be governor. <\/p>\n Tuberville could run for office on many things that might make Alabama better \u2014 ending tariffs that hurt Alabama farmers<\/a>, supporting rural hospitals <\/a>instead of building the world\u2019s most expensive prison<\/a>, or recruiting companies from overseas. <\/p>\n But why do the hard stuff when old, reliable Alabama politics works so well? <\/p>\n Tommy Tuberville still likes to call himself Coach, but his playbook is one everybody knows. <\/p>\n A note to my readers: These videos take a lot of work but you help so much by watching, following and sharing.
