The perpetrators may think they got away, but they didn&#8217;t count on the full force of NYPD detectives searching for them,&#8221; read a statement from the Detectives Endownment Association. &#8220;There&#8217;s nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. This union will not stop until those responsible are held accountable &#8211; for our brother in blue and all New Yorkers.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The union reported that the atteackers fled on an e-bike after attacking the officer.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"&lt;em&gt;A heavy police presence is seen in the area where the stabbing happened.
