He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to police.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"4rfvt\">Police said the suspect has not been apprehended and the investigation is still ongoing.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"1m0dt\">Prior to Saturday\u2019s killing, there had been two murders so far this year in the 103rd Precinct, which covers Jamaica, according to the most recent NYPD crime statistics. That\u2019s down 50% compared to the same period last year, when there were four, according to NYPD data.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"3mbtb\">Citywide, homicides and shootings have continued to plummet to historic lows, according to NYPD data.
