{"id":363936,"date":"2026-10-04T01:54:48","date_gmt":"2026-10-04T01:54:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/363936\/"},"modified":"2026-10-04T01:54:48","modified_gmt":"2026-10-04T01:54:48","slug":"news-12-bronx-2-teens-2-adults-arrested-in-bridgeport-street-fight-accused-of-interfering-with-police-response","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/363936\/","title":{"rendered":"News 12 | Bronx | 2 Teens 2 Adults Arrested In Bridgeport Street Fight Accused Of Interfering With Police Response"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Two teenage boys and two adults were arrested following a street fight in Bridgeport&#8217;s East Side on Friday, according to police.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Juan Carlos-Torres, 38, and Lawrence Marrow, 22, allegedly ambushed the officers who were trying to break up a brawl between two teens, 16 and 17 years old.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">News 12 cameras <a data-rich-text-hyperlink=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/connecticut.news12.com\/not-too-far-from-the-school-bridgeport-police-investigating-incident-involving-multiple-people-taken-into-custody\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">captured the incident<\/a> as it unfolded on Noble Avenue near Maple Street at around 12:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Officers were attempting to de-escalate the fight when investigators say Carlos-Torres and Marrow, who were sitting on a porch nearby, allegedly rushed toward the officers. Carlos-Torres also allegedly threatened an officer.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">During the chaos, police say the 17-year-old threw a basketball at a police car, which caused damage.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Juan-Carlos and Marrow, both of Bridgeport, were charged with breach of peace and interfering with an officer\/resisting arrest, according to officials.
