LeBron James<\/a> is officially in his 76ers routine.<\/p>\n

The four-time MVP is proving his helicopter commute from Philadelphia to New York<\/a> is no big deal.<\/p>\n

After the 76ers\u2019 first scrimmage on Saturday, he took to the sky and made the roughly 45-minute flight back to the concrete jungle, per photos obtained by The Post.<\/p>\n

The helicopter landed at VIP Heliport on West 30th Street.<\/p>\n

The commute is shorter than what would usually be a 90-minute to two-hour drive.<\/p>\n

It has already taken effect as the team prepares for the season.<\/p>\n

ESPN\u2019s Dave McMenamin reported that James\u2019 helicopter could be heard taking off<\/a> while the media were interviewing Anfernee Simons last week.<\/p>\n

Xfinity Mobile Arena held a sold-out crowd of 10,000 fans for the scrimmage.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo be able to take what we\u2019ve done on the practice floor, bring it to a game-floor situation around our fans \u2026 it was a great first step in the direction we\u2019re trying to go,\u201d James said afterward.<\/p>\n

The 41-year-old has stated he plans to spend his time between the two cities after signing a two-year, $8 million deal with Philadelphia <\/a>in a booming free agency move that involves moving his family to the East Coast from Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

When asked about what city he would be living in, James previously said, \u201cBoth. Multiple residences.\u201d<\/p>\n

Between the 76ers\u2019 41 home games and about 26 home practices, the Philly Voice reported <\/a>James could be looking down roughly 67 round-trips. <\/p>\n

General manager of the New York-based helicopter charter company Wings Air Helicopters, Anna Macsai, also told the outlet flights could start at $6,000 and double for round-trip. It lands the estimated total cost of the helicopter commute around $804,000 for the next two years (playoffs not included).<\/p>\n

When making his decision to play in Philadelphia, it was never about money for James. <\/p>\n

Rather, his agent Rich Paul said it came down to \u201ccomplete happiness.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

Thus, the cost of the unusual commute likely doesn\u2019t matter to the 22-time All-Star. <\/p>\n

Philly fans will get their first look at the retooled roster with James and Jaylen Brown <\/a>on October 5 as Paul George, Andre Drummond, Quentin Grimes and Kelly Oubre Jr. were all dealt during the offseason. The Sixers are set to host the defending champion Knicks in what will be a preseason opener for both teams.<\/a><\/p>\n
