A Bronx stabbing victim\u2019s frantic fiancee made the 911 call that led to cops to his apartment to find his body,<\/a> police sources said.<\/p>\n

Cops found Christopher Osbourne, a 37-year-old musician who preformed under the name \u201c1zon3 DFA,\u201d knifed in the chest, back, left arm and left hand inside his Belmont apartment on Adams Place near E. 182nd St. about 2:45 p.m. Thursday. No arrests have been made.<\/p>\n

On Facebook, his fiancee, Shawna Titus, posted about the harrowing days leading up to the grim discovery.<\/p>\n

\u201cI looked for him for 3 days called hospitals called (precincts) i knew something wasn\u2019t right,\u201d she wrote on Friday.<\/a> \u201cIt\u2019s like he was telling me don\u2019t wait keep looking.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI knew he would never just disappear on me,\u201d she added. \u201cOmg y\u2019all to get them to open that door and to see my luv like that killed my soul I\u2019m never gonna be ok promise you gonna get justice.\u201d<\/p>\n

Titus thanked the attendees of a Friday night candlelight memorial for Osbourne.<\/p>\n

\u201cI appreciate all of you that came out tonight,\u201d she wrote on Facebook. \u201cJust give me time to adjust<\/a> I\u2019m still processing and I know it\u2019s going to be challenging.\u201d<\/p>\n

She has gone from planning a wedding to planning a funeral.<\/p>\n

\u201cSoon I will be trying to put something together for 1zon3,\u201d she wrote. \u201cI just don\u2019t know how or where to start.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Osbourne spoke optimistically about his music in an interview<\/a> on the street outside the \u201cRunning Cool\u201d restaurant in the Bronx.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat may I bring to the game, bro? Are those vibes, enjoyment, always uplifting?\u201d he said. \u201cYou can find me on every platform\u2026 Look out for the next thing I\u2019m going to drop.\u201d<\/p>\n

His friends also took to social media to mourn him over the weekend.<\/p>\n

\u201cI refuse to believe a true life of the party is gone,\u201d one friend wrote on Facebook. \u201cYou\u2019ll always be missed and never forgotten.\u201d<\/p>\n

His killing marks the fourth slaying in the Bronx\u2019s 48th Precinct, which has seen a 75% drop in homicides this year. The precinct saw 13 slayings in all of 2025, according to NYPD statistics.<\/p>\n

Murders are down overall in the city by more than 21%, with 198 slayings through Sept. 27 compared to 252 in the same timeframe last year. But more than a third of this year\u2019s slayings, 74 in total, took place in the Bronx.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, the NYPD split the Bronx into two distinct NYPD patrol commands, a restructuring many hope will help fight disproportionately high crime rates in the borough.<\/p>\n

An additional 200 officers were slated to be assigned to the Bronx<\/a> as it was divided into separate North and South borough commands in May. Patrol boroughs are commands that oversee local police precinct operations.
