Andrew Reynoso had only been dating his new love interest for a couple months when he visited her family\u2019s Bronx apartment and wound up paying with his life \u2014 the victim of a triple-murder-suicide<\/a> carried out by the young woman\u2019s father, Reynoso\u2019s heartbroken family says.<\/p>\n

Reynoso, 33, was shot to death<\/a> along with the 26-year-old woman he was visiting, Kianna Stukes, by her father, Kaseem Stukes, who also killed his own mother before taking his own life<\/a> Nov. 5, police said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was literally just wrong place, wrong time,\u201d the mother of Reynoso\u2019s two young sons, told the Daily News in an exclusive interview Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just wish he did not go over there \u2026 He was a good person. He didn\u2019t deserve this \u2026 Our family is devastated.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the slayings but just before taking his own life, Kaseem, 44, knocked wandered through his building in NYCHA\u2019s Castle Hill Houses with two guns tucked in his waistband, saying cryptic farewells to neighbors and leaving clues to a possible motive.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy family is snitching on me,\u201d he told a childhood friend who lives down the hall from his apartment. \u201cThey\u2019re telling on me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kaseem was due in Bronx Criminal Court the day of the slaying for an appearance where prosecutors planned to announce they were no longer pursuing a year-old case against him after a grand jury failed to indict him. He had been accused of slamming his vehicle into a row of parked cars and firing a gun at an angry mob that responded.<\/p>\n

The mother of Reynoso\u2019s kids, who asked not to be named, is glad Kaseem went back to his family\u2019s apartment and shot himself to death after talking to neighbors in the building on Lacombe Ave. near Castle Hill Ave.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope he\u2019s rotting in hell. I need him to rot in hell. I hope everything bad that can happen to a person in hell is happening to him,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is such a selfish, cowardly f\u2014ing action of any human being. If he wanted to take his own life then that\u2019s what the f\u2014 he should have done \u2014 not everybody else around him.\u201d<\/p>\n

She remained close with Reynoso ever since they broke up years ago and now has to figure out how to break the news to their two sons, ages 4 and 6, that their dad is dead.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey don\u2019t even know. I have not told my kids. My kids are extremely attached to him. So to sit here and have to tell my babies that he\u2019s not here\u2026\u201d she said, breaking down in tears as her voice trailed off. \u201cThey love their daddy. He loved them and we loved each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reynoso worked hard in a meat wholesale warehouse in Hunts Point to provide for their sons and was a constantly reassuring presence in their lives.<\/p>\n

\u201cAndrew wasn\u2019t a man of many words. He was quiet. But he was funny, he was silly, he was caring,\u201d his ex said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAny problem, anything like that, he was like \u2018Oh things are gonna get better.\u2019 He was very positive, no matter what it was. I could be freaking out, he was like, \u2018It\u2019s gonna be okay, don\u2019t worry about it. Pray on it. God\u2019s got us.\u2019 He would always say that, no matter what the issue was. He was always very calm, laid back.\u201d<\/p>\n

His ex said Reynoso had only recently gotten involved with Kianna.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe just started talking to her,\u201d she said. \u201cShe wasn\u2019t necessarily his girlfriend \u2026 They were dating.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was just visiting her,\u201d she said of the day he died.<\/p>\n

Reynoso\u2019s cousin also said the victim had only recently started dating Kianna but Reynosa had high hopes for the relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cYesterday we went to the funeral home, me and his mom,\u201d said the cousin, \u00a0Darling Burgos, 32, describing seeing Reynoso\u2019s body for the first time. \u201cShe was crying, I was crying.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reynoso\u2019s mother has barely eaten or slept since the slaying.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe took care of him, she made sure he eat before he get to work, clean his clothes, everything,\u201d the cousin said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe last words she told him, \u2018Andrew, go to work.\u2019 And he said, \u2018Okay, Mommy.\u2019 And he was walking away and she prayed to say \u2018God always take care of my son, amen.\u2019 Then he said, \u2018Mommy I love you.\u2019 She said \u2018I love you too.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Reynoso\u2019s ex last spoke to him just two days before he died. They discussed plans for him to take their sons out to the movies and bowling the following Saturday.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wasn\u2019t really able to talk to him because I was busy cooking for the kids,\u201d she said. \u201cBut he called to talk to the boys. He was like, \u2018Hey, love, let me see them.\u2019 He was on his way to work and that was Monday. I gave the kids the phone. FaceTime, they were talking to him. He was like \u2018I\u2019ll see you and the kids on Saturday.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t get the chance to talk to him Tuesday,\u201d she added. \u201cHe worked overnight so I tried my best not to bother him so he could sleep.\u201d<\/p>\n

She got a panicked call from one of Reynoso\u2019s brothers the next morning that Reynoso was dead.<\/p>\n

\u201cI felt like I was going to faint,\u201d she said. \u201cAt first I didn\u2019t believe it, so I kept calling (Reynoso\u2019s) phone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cops found Kaseem dead on the couch with the murder weapon still in his hand, police sources said. Kianna, 26, was dead in the rear of the home along with her 75-year-old grandmother, Theresa Stukes, the sources said.<\/p>\n

Reynoso was found dead near the apartment\u2019s door, leading his family to speculate he was shot last and nearly escaped.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou already did what you did to your mother and daughter,\u201d Reynoso\u2019s ex said. \u201cYou could have let (Reynoso) go. He was already at the door. You could\u2019ve let him go.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then you killed my person,\u201d she added through tears. \u201cThat was my person. He had no right taking my person away.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a series of interviews with the Daily News, Kaseem\u2019s surviving relatives said he was a good person before he snapped<\/a>. They say he struggled with substance abuse and mental illness and they believe his stints in prison on drug and gun charges<\/a> warped his mind.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very upsetting. It\u2019s even more upsetting to hear people want to talk good about this individual and say that he loved his mother. He killed his f\u2014ing mother. He killed his 26-year-old daughter who didn\u2019t even get a chance to really experience f\u2014ing life, have her own kids, get married \u2014 no nothing. All because of your f\u2014 up, of your actions. And then you took someone that had nothing to do with anything, to come see your daughter. You took him away from my babies, you took him away from his mother, you took him away from his brothers. You took him away from everybody.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat had nothing to do with Andrew,\u201d she added. \u201cHe went in to see your daughter and you took his life.\u201d<\/p>\n

She believed she and Reynoso might have gotten back together eventually. But in the meantime, he had told her about the new woman in his life.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen he did talk to me about Kianna, he was like, \u2018Yeah she\u2019s cool.\u2019 I\u2019m like \u2018Alright that\u2019s what\u2019s up.\u2019 And like I tell him all the time with everything, \u2018Be careful.\u2019 That\u2019s just my thing \u2014 that\u2019s what I tell everybody I care about, everyone I love. I be like, \u2018Make sure you be safe out there. There\u2019s crazy motherf\u2014ers out there, anything can happen.\u2019 That\u2019s just what I say. And he was just like, \u2018Alright, I got you mamas.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy kids now have to grow up without their dad being there, reading to them and playing video games with them and giving them hugs and kisses and going to the graduations and being there for their birthday,\u201d she added. \u201cHe was at every birthday party. He was at all their graduations. You stole that. You stole it.
