{"id":364706,"date":"2026-10-05T10:50:27","date_gmt":"2026-10-05T10:50:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/364706\/"},"modified":"2026-10-05T10:50:27","modified_gmt":"2026-10-05T10:50:27","slug":"james-baird-state-park-man-arrested-for-lewd-acts-in-lagrange","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/364706\/","title":{"rendered":"James Baird State Park: Man arrested for lewd acts in Lagrange"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"J2VJNECOYVDTHEJZS76WOZ6OXQ\">State police say a parkgoer restrained a naked man accused of performing lewd acts at a Hudson Valley state park until troopers arrived Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"6RL5HKZLOVDBZCNT543IV46DAQ\">New York State Police responded to a reported fight at <a href=\"https:\/\/parks.ny.gov\/visit\/state-parks\/james-baird-state-park\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/parks.ny.gov\/visit\/state-parks\/james-baird-state-park\">James Baird State Park<\/a> on Thursday around 2:50 p.m. When they arrived, they found a bystander physically restraining Paul Roberts, 51, who was naked and had allegedly been engaging in lewd conduct.<\/p>\n<p class=\"related-articles-affiliate\">MORE BY ADVANCE LOCAL EXPRESS DESK<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"PCQNY54YVRBYHBL73GY3DRVNEY\">Police charged Roberts, of Hyde Park, with public lewdness for intentionally exposing his private parts in public, a Class B misdemeanor.
